We’ve gone from being consider the paper pushers to the strategic partners of an organization. Depending on the role you’ve just accepted, it can be exciting and overwhelming at the same time. Getting HR Certifications: Is it worth it?
Now further along in my career, I reflect back and realize that there were some employers who cared about the certification and others who cared about the degree and or experience. I concluded that what’s really expected can sometimes be ambiguous and subjective, depending on the company.
HR Analytics
Many may refer to this as evidence based decision making. But how do we get started is the question? In order to really understand the value of the data, you must develop a curious mind. It’s easy to simply walk into an organization and continue the old way of doing things because we’ve always done it that way. It’s looking for the data that substantiates why things are done the way they are done.
